Whether you're new to church altogether or simply looking for a new church home in Kampala, we want you to feel welcome before you even walk through the door. Here's everything you need to know about your first visit to Reconciliation Baptist Church.
📍 Finding Us : We're located in Mutundwe - Kisigula, opposite Mutundwe Young Christian Secondary School. If you're coming by boda-boda or taxi, simply ask for Mutundwe Young Christian Secondary School and you'll find us right there.
🕙 When to Arrive : Our main Sunday Worship Service runs from 10:00am to 12:00pm, but we encourage first-time visitors to arrive a little early. We hold a Prayer Meeting from 9:30am to 9:55am, a beautiful way to ease into worship before the service begins.
After the service, we have Sunday School for both adults and children from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. You're warmly invited to stay.
🙏 What Happens During the Service : Our worship service is Christ-centered and rooted in Scripture. Here's what a typical Sunday looks like:
- Congregational singing, we sing hymns and psalms that exalt Christ
- Scripture reading, God's Word is central to everything we do
- Expository preaching, our sermons go deep into the Bible, verse by verse
- Prayer, corporate prayer is a vital part of our worship together
👨👩👧 Bringing Your Family? : We love families. We have a dedicated Children's Ministry running during and after the service, so your little ones will be well cared for and learning too. Our Youth Ministry also caters to teenagers who want to grow in faith.
🤝 Will Anyone Talk to Me? : Absolutely, Our congregation is friendly and welcoming. After the service, members and pastors/church elders will greet you and welcome any questions on your mind.
💻 Can't Make It In Person? : We stream our services live on YouTube. Subscribe to our channel so you never miss a Sunday, even when life gets busy.
