Reconciliation Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, gospel-proclaiming, Reformed Baptist church located in Nalukolongo, Kampala. We exist to see the love of God magnified as Christ is exalted, His church is strengthened, and His kingdom is advanced through faithful witness, sacrificial service, and transformed lives.
“To magnify the love of God by preaching Christ crucified, building up the body of Christ, and advancing His kingdom through faithful witness and service.”
“To see the love of God magnified as Christ is exalted, His church is strengthened, and His kingdom is advanced through faithful witness, sacrificial service, and transformed lives.”
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, all for the glory of God alone. These truths shape everything we teach, preach, and practice.
Often called the “Five Points of Calvinism,” these biblical truths emphasize God’s sovereign grace in salvation—from His eternal choice to redeem sinners to the preserving power that keeps His people secure in Christ.
We are committed to preaching that makes the main point of the passage the main point of the sermon. We aim at Christ-centered preaching that draws the meaning out of Scripture, not reading our own ideas into it. We believe the Word of God is sufficient and powerful to transform lives.
The gospel is good news meant to be declared! We desire engage our community and the world with the message of Christ crucified and risen, calling all people to repent and believe the gospel.
We believe every Christian is called to grow in Christ and help others do the same. Through teaching, mentoring, and intentional relationships, we seek to build mature believers who love God, know His Word, and live for His glory.
We value the family as a vital context for discipleship. We encourage families to worship together, grow together, and serve together, equipping parents to raise their children in the nurture and instruction of the Lord.
The church is more than a building—it is a family. At RBC, we strive to be a community marked by love, hospitality, prayer, and mutual care. We bear one another’s burdens, rejoice together, and walk side-by-side in grace and truth.
Whether you are exploring the Christian faith or looking for a church home, we invite you to join us as we pursue Christ, love one another, and proclaim His gospel to the world.
